Part One - Update Kanban

8:30am – Manager Motivational Kick-off:

• Start with a *motivational message or success story (2 minutes)
• Celebrate wins from the previous day – each person shares one victory (3 minutes for the whole exercise)

8:35am - Kanban as a Team (1 minute per person)

For each pledge, ask the owner:

• What progress have you made?
• What blockers do you have?
• What actions will you take today to move this pledge forward?

*Get the pledge owner to record their Kanban actions on the whiteboard.

Part Two

8.40am - Daily Set-up

The purpose of a daily set-up is to recap yesterday, hold people accountable for their performance and agree SMART goals for the coming day.

For each person:

* Ask them to quickly recap their rating for yesterday and why they gave the rating.
* You tell them what you think of the rating and why? (Do you agree? Have they forgotten anything?)
* You tell them what you think of the goals they achieved? (praise/if missed any discuss why)
* You tell them what you think of the KPIs they achieved? (praise/if missed any discuss why)

End the meeting:

Remind them of any team goals/targets/incentives being worked on

Remind them of any deadlines e.g job change over Remind them to use Trudi for all steps that are relevant to them today (based on KPIs, booked pre-screens etc.)

Leave meeting on a positive note – instil confidence, get them excited for the day.

*motivational messages – personal win, learning, no-yes, podcast insight, personal situation linked to work, memory from old, fable/book message, message relevant to the whole team.
