* What were your thoughts on the information I sent out? What stood out to you and what aligned most with your goals / aspirations? * *
(We are looking for them to have looked over the documents and watched the videos. If they haven’t – it is your call to end the call or continue. Dig for specific answers)
* Thanks for taking the time to be here today. The structure of this video call will be for me to tell you a little more about index and our onboarding programme before moving onto a couple of questions & then a sales task. * *
We recognise to get world class talent, we have to provide a world class infrastructure. You will be given the tools and resources you need to succeed, including comprehensive training programs, ongoing support and mentorship from experienced professionals, and access to cutting-edge technology and systems. Our launchpad academy is a 6 month programme, that fosters your growth and unlocks your potential. It is a dynamic and immersive onboarding experience. There is a mixture of classroom brilliance, real-world application and self-driven learning.
The recruitment job is tough and we want you to be the best so it is important to drive your career forward quickly but also not throw you in the deep end. Making sure you have all the skills needed.
We have a hypergrowth strategy that is seeing us expand rapidly across international markets, there is no better place to build your career and be a part of a dynamic and exciting team.
People talk about growth all the time but, we can show it having grown by over 2000% since 2019 making us one of the fastest growing companies globally. The next step is to go one better, and become the fastest growing company.
Now, that is all the talking from me, hopefully you understand index a little more. I have some questions I want to ask you. You might feel like I have asked these previously, but these are to highlight links between your experience and recruitment!
* Can you tell me about your previous work experience, and how you think it will relate and prepare you for a role in recruitment? *
* How would you imagine you build and maintain relationships with candidates and clients, what is important in doing this and have you got any examples? *
* What do you see are the top attributes are of a recruitment consultant? What are your strengths that align with these attributes? What would you like to develop more? *
* If a candidate had concerns about the recruitment process and expressed frustration with your communication or follow-up, how would you take ownership of the situation and work to address the candidate’s concerns? *
* “At index, we primarily target the passive market because they lead to bigger fees. This means we do a lot of headhunting here which in essence is cold calling. A headhunt is when we reach out to a candidate that has not applied for a role and don’t know that you are calling. The aim of the call is to grab their attention about the specific role and arrange a time to call them back.
I want you to create a headhunt pitch about the role you’re interviewing for now. We use the pitch pyramid which is, choose 1 thing you want to get out the call. 2 ways you want to come across and 3 pull factors with a strong open and close. Take a moment to write this down and add a strong open and a strong close. I’ll give you a couple of mins to pull something together and we will jump back on and continue.”
Thank you for your answer.
We believe in being upfront about what it takes to thrive here. This isn’t a typical 9-to-5 job—it’s a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where 12+ hour days are the norm, and your success will depend directly on your effort, meeting tough KPIs, and continually investing in your own learning, even outside of work hours. It’s demanding, intense, and not for everyone. But for those who are ready to commit fully, the rewards are unmatched.
* Is this something you can commit to?
*Is there anything outside of work that could affect your ability to meet these requirements?
* Thanks so much for your time on todays call – how have you found it and have you any questions or reservations?
* Theoretically, not that you are, if you were offered the role today what would you say?*
(if yes, push back and seek reservations and/or questions that need to be answered)
* I’d like to invite you to do the next sales task which id like you to do after this call. This is to record a 60 second video of why you want to join index and why we should hire you. If you can record it and send it to my whatsapp that would be great. This will be shown to our senior team.
* Thanks so much for your time on todays call – how have you found it? *
At this stage I’m not going to take you forward for this particular role because I don’t think it will be the right fit. With this being said we are actively growing, and I would encourage you to keep applying and engaging with us online.
