Depending on the client and their process the final may be wrapped into the 2nd stage so make sure you refer to the 2nd interview prep points when building your agenda for this call.
🧠 How are you feeling ahead of the interview?
🎯 Remind them of the client’s positive feedback and the candidate’s feedback throughout the process.
❓ Go through questions they have for the team
🕴️ Remind them to keep a professional head even though it’s with their peers – go through how they want their peers to see them…
🍻If they are going for drinks – 2 drink rule maximum!!!!!!!!!
🧾 Remind me, what other processes are you in now?
⏳ Where are you at with each of those? (what stage, when that stage is, when/if an offer is expected?)
🗣️ What type of feedback or push backs have you had from previous interviews? (can use the strengths and positives from this within your own prep)
📊 How does this process rank against your other processes so far including the ones you are representing? Push on why.
📆 When do you expect to have all processes finished?
🚩 What hesitancies if any do you have about this process? (uncover possible dealbreakers)
❗ What outstanding questions do you have for the client? (double check for hidden dealbreakers)
💸 Reconfirm the package and their expectations. Reconfirm what they would need to accept the opportunity.
🤝 If everything goes well and is as expected, would you be in a position to accept an offer?
🧩 What would stop you from accepting if they offered you on the spot?
📲 Agree that they will call you as soon as they come out of the interview
🍀 Wish them good luck!
💰 Comms – Have you checked recently what is due and when?
📄 Contract – Has the candidate double checked their notice period? What about covenants?
🔁 Counter offer – has anything changed internally during the process that could make them stay? Are you really sure???
📨 Resigning – it is getting towards the end of the process, how are they feeling about getting to that point? Have they done it before? What happened?
🚦 Other opportunities – have you double checked who else they might be speaking to, even if you think the answer will be no? Where does your role sit in their priority list? 1, 2 or 3 – why?
