Mock Interview

You now want to do a mini mock interviews with the candidate –

This is SO important for testing commitment and it’s the best opportunity to dick on the weaker areas in the candidates profile, as well as exploring topics you know are important to your client. You would rather they have a terrible mock interview with you and you can improve it rather than your client.

Questions

Remember when interviewing the directors you are speaking with are  comparing how you are with them and if you are someone that could make an impact not only in their business but with their clients and candidates. So treat it the same as you would a new client meeting. Always be qualifying yourself and always be closing them. Ask them thought provoking questions/ ask them for feedback and close them on next steps.

Prompt

Can you give me a call as soon as you’ve finished the interview? I want the feedback from you whilst it’s still fresh in your head and I won’t speak to the client until I have it.
