Manager’s Email

Basic overview of the business — size, turnover, other locations, sectors, other brands.

Who founded the company and what are they famous for? — did the founder work for a champions league? Have they founded and exited before? Do they have a strong personal brand etc. Who do we know that they know?

Who else in the business and/or team do we have a long-standing relationship with?

Which markets does the client work? — Which Ion case studies and success stories with direct competitors/in similar markets will you use to sell yourself?

Prepare your story — why you're different, how you operate, what clients say:

Hiring trends — how many hires in last 6 months? Where do they typically hire from? How many leavers and where did they go to?

Business Growth — how has the business grown/reduced in size, T/O, headcount in the last 2 years?

What is their relationship with Ion? — Have we made placements? How many and which hiring managers? Have we got terms? Who in Ion dealt with the business? Make sure you get the background!

What feedback do we have from candidates on the business? — (good and bad)

Any talking points on their LinkedIn page/website?

Based on this research what advice could you give this client to stand out and show your value?
