Prompt
Recap on theirs and the clients feedback from the 1st stage interview :
· What did they like about it
· Anything that they were hesitant about?
· Re cap questions that were asked during the interview and what topics were covered off.
· Feedback from client both good and Bad
Do another Mock interview based on some of the hesitations or concerns the client may have around the candidate.
E.g. If its around their track record in Business Development – go through the canddiates BD processes/ Re trace some of their Big wins In BD so they can emphasis these and also educate the candidate on additional methods of BD so they can demonstrate to their client their understanding of this and what they would implement if they were to move to another firm.
Given you will have done a feedback call and gone through next stages with your client prep on what this is:
If its a presentation:
Go through full presentation with them as they would do presenting it. Push on certain aspects of the presentation/ push them on questions around the figures they have included and get them to clarify any points you believe need to be more detailed.
Ensure you tick off each agenda point to ensure the candidate has covered everything the client asks.
No matter how experienced they are ensure you go through presenting skills with them – Not just reading off a screen / eye contact / confidence
Meet the Team / Other hiring Managers:
· Cover off questions from the first mock interview you did with them if they weren’t asked around those subjects.
· Go through questions they have for the profiles they will be meeting – make sure they are relevant to those individuals and levels.
Recap
· Go through other processes with them external to this one- cover what stages they are up to/ and how they compare to this opportunity.
· Pre close on when they would be able to do a final interview
· And Remember to prep them on closing the client at the end of the interview.
